Sega GT 2002 Goes Live
POSTED: 2:07 AM CST

Sega announced that the Live version of Sega GT 2002 will come out in the U.S. sometime this fall.

Sega GT Online, the name of the new product, works exactly the same as the original. You start off with the worst and lamest of GT vehicles, you've got to earn licenses, enter races, and use the prize money to buy extra parts and cars. The only difference lies in the online support: up to six people can join a race at once, and you'll be able to trade and bet cars with other gamers.

"Sega GT Online takes racing for pink slips to a whole new level," says Sega vice president Mike Fischer. "If you think you've got what it takes to be the best, you can put your hard-earned car on the line and square off with thousands of gamers online via Xbox Live."
